** Note that the Act of Psychotherapy is exempt from taxation in the province of Ontario since June 20, 2024

Cancelled or missed appointments:

  • Cancellations require 24-hours notification.

  • Missed appointments or sessions cancelled within less than 24-hours will be charged for a full appointment fee unless we can re-schedule the session that same business week.

  • If you are late, your appointment will still begin at the set time and you will be charged for a full session. We work with whatever time remains for us.

  • Additional fees may apply if you require me to prepare special notes, letters, forms or documentation.

Check with your insurance plan to see if they cover Registered Psychotherapists (RP)

The CRPO is the College that regulates the profession of psychotherapy in Ontario. Since becoming a regulated profession, Registered Psychotherapists are being recognized more commonly by insurance companies. If your employer/insurer does not yet provide coverage for RPs, you might be able to request extended coverage.
